The Palatka Art League, Inc. is a non profit organization consisting of artists and crafters from Palatka and surrounding areas that strive to bring art, crafts, and culture to the community. With approximately 85 members, PAL is steadily growing and invites new artists and crafters to join. Having been in existance for over 17 years, the PAL, Inc offers area artists and crafters a stable and encouraging environment to expose their talents and share with the community.

Membership in the Palatka Art League, Inc. includes participation in the following area festivals and art shows / sales: Christmas Holiday House, Florida Azalea Festival, Ravine Gardens Azalea Days, Putnam County Agricultural Fair, Blue Crab Festival, Kids Summer Art Program, Artoberfest, PAL members only shows and more!

Area artists and crafters paint, craft, and share their artistic knowledge through workshops, classes, festivals and events. In 2006 the PAL gave three art scholarships to deserving high school students in Putnam County.

Working with the city, the PAL is maintaining the historic Tilghman House, which is their home at 324 River Street, Palatka, FL. This is the home to the PAL's many functions including the Holiday House, art classes for adults and children during the summer, Paint Fridays, which is an ongoing event all year. The PAL also works closely with the Conlee Mural Committee, helping to bring some of the beautiful murals you see in downtown Palatka.
